Tui Na

Tui Na, literally meaning “push and grasp”, is a physical manipulative therapy based on Chinese medical theory. Often referred to as Chinese medical massage, many different hand techniques are used at the joints, along the meridians, and at acupressure points to treat a broad range of diseases, including musculoskeletal disorders, acute and chronic traumatic injuries, stress-related disorders, and digestive and respiratory disorders. Tui Na can be used in conjunction with acupuncture or as a treatment modality on its own. It has been shown to be especially effective for pediatric patients and orthopedic conditions.
